[IHUG] installing Hurd

Hi,
we were installing hurd referring to the page
http://www.debian.org/ports/hurd/hurd-cd
   it went fine until the third reboot.
At the third reboot, instead of getting a login shell, we are getting the
following messages

ext2fs_check_if_mount: (os/kern) invalid address while determining whether
/dev/hd0s1 is  mounted.

also it says
kd_setleds1: unexpected state (1)
