I just tested how to do the above change. All it took
was 5 min. and a Perl one-liner to replace all
instances of halant + U0B2F to halant + U0B5F. I
concede that the change from ba/va/wa will be more
difficult, but till a linguistic consensus is reached
I cannot see us taking the step of bringing in a
character that is not in use in Oriya today.
Also, I just had occasion to make use of the UTF-8
conversion that you had done for the Rebati glossary,
and noticed that you had changed U0B35 to U0B71 in
words such as "software" and "window". Please do not
make such unilateral changes in the future. Regardless
of the merits of what you suggest, I hope that you
will agree that having several different versions of
the glossary floating around is counter-productive.
