In "Rebati-Gnome Glossary - Oct 26, 2004 update in Utf8_txt" I have changed all 0B35 to 0B71. If any where any ommission left, please correct it.
As updation/development of this glossary has to be done at regular intervels,
I suggest to :
(1)include a version No.in it's filename
(2)only latest version should be kept on http://oriya.sarovar.org
(3)Older versions should be deleted.
(4)As presently no perfect conversion program is available, it will better if new entries could be made directly in UTF8 Format. I hope, Mr. Gora can do alphabatical sorting directly in UTF8, as the initial word is English. However there may be a need to use some program or utility to separate TAB DELIMITED 2nd field of the Oriya meaning.
Sorting order/collation is perhaps yet to be revised for Oriya.
(5) If this glossary can be put in directly in UTF8 format in any database or spreadsheet program with a "Quick Dictionary Order Sort" option, it will be most useful for the "on-line translators" (like me).
Regards.
