  I was trying to stay away from all this IME
business,
but from talking to people here, I think that the way
to go is the IIMF that we had briefly discussed, and
that Karunakar had mentioned to Pansaribabu. For a

>From a presentation made here, this is intended to be
a platform-independent input method framework, yet one
which takes advantage of optimized methods on each 
platform that it runs on: Linux, Mac, Windows, and can
even operate in a client/server mode on a network of
heterogeneous machines. So, I personally am willing to
take up IIIMF, but do not want to get involved in the
others. Also, IMEs will not work under Linux the way
Pansaribabu described Windows IMEs as working.
Finally, I think that we are developing a tendency to
go around in circles. If you are planning on working
on an Oriya IME, that is great, but please see to it
to that there is some tangible outcome from your work.
