[Oriya-group] Volunteer for presenting introductory programming under Linux

Hello,
  The agenda for the meeting on Sunday is being
finalized, and will be posted by tonight. In the
meantime, we need domeone to volunteer to do a
presentation on programming under Linux. This
should be a very simple introduction, e.g., one
could describe gcc and its various front-ends that
allow it to compile a variety of languages, simple
editors like vi/emacs, write, compile and run a
hello world program in C on the fly, and mention
the various IDEs available (anjuta, eclipse, kdevelop,
etc. No need to go into detail on them). The
presentation should last 20min. + 5 min. for
questions.
  Please let me know as soon as possible (latest by
Friday) if you are willing to do this.
