The Electronic version of
Purnachandra Odia Bhashakosha, (published in the 1930's and
copies of which are extremely rare) was released. About 200 scholars, dignitories and public were present at the function. Vide coverage was made by the TV and other media peoples.

This great contribution to Oriya Lexicon, was made by Srujanika, Jagamara,
Bhubaneswar. In the first phase the first 3 volumes of this Kohsha was released
and made available in a CD at very nominial cost. This CD contains the scaned
images of pages of Original Bhaashaakosha, which were systematically page-wise
indexed in E-book format, can be read well by Acrobat Reader. User can search a
word letter-wise or word-group-wise (from begining word to ending word of a
page).

The Bhashakosha consists of about
10000 pages in seven volumes and contains about 1,85,000 word-entries
giving their meaning/pronounciation in Oriya, English, Hindi and
Bengali. It also contains many long notes and much specialised
information on all aspects of Orissa/Oriya and also on many other
subjects.
