Not only federal banks, there are quite a few Govt Organisation's site which
does not display the content when viewed using any browser other than IE.

I remember having a argument and fight with a BSNL JTO in B'lore when I had
a laptop with Fedora in it.
I was not able to view the Broadband usage. BSNL's dataone site never used
to open using firefox or even opera.

The Joker JTO didnt even have any clue abt what I am trying to say. end of
it. Nothing happened. I just cudn't view my broadband usage.

there are many like the PSC site, many other banks site which doesnt open in
any browser other that IE.
Its just a matter of adding few lines when you create your webpage to check
the browser and display the pages accordingly. (AFAIK).

Need to check whether these developers who create those pages use the
"NON_PIRATED" windows OS to develop!

I strongly feel ( havent checked though) that the banks/other govt
organisations does not use original windows software. I think they banks
give the contract to "computerize" thier Office to some local Comp Sales &
service company. which "happily" install pirated copies of OS to their
computers! otherwise how can a local firm sell computers inclusive of
Windows OS and MS office in just 18-20K??

and telling abt piracy, i had visited SBT branch in plkd to see that they
play MP3 songs loudly!, had the clowns playing those songs in a bank where
public come and go frequently "buy" those MP3 songs???
