[+PLUS] Federal Bank demands the browser to be IE

I second it. Not just Govt Organizations' sites, there are websites of
reputed MNCs as well that endorse IE. A fine example is the Vodafone.in
website. For every query that you shoot at a call center executive, you will
receive a blunt response "For more details, visit our website". And to my
dismay, I could never utilize the website completely in Iceweasel/Firefox.
Once I pointed this out to the customer support, and they told me that in
order to use their services I HAVE to use IE. How can someone demand that?

Talking about Govt organizations, many premier R&D centers under the Central
and state govts have their sites set up in such a way that no other browser
can be used to view them.
