Hi Suresh,
Rendering or not.
When I copy the Unicode from the property files (opened in notepad, I don’t have any other text editor where I can open it) to the Malayalam.html, I find many of them wrong.
A few questions on what I’m supposed to do.
1) Am I the only one working on the Dictionary?
2) If more people are there, how is the source control?
3) How do I start working? Is it like add a new word into the properties file you sent and create equivalent Malayalam Unicode using the Malayalam.html and copy & paste on the right of it?
4) If I’m the only person working on it is the files I got, the latest, else please send me the latest.
5) Is there anything I should know or keep in mind when I’m doing this
Cheers
Francis

The issues you see with fonts are known as renderin issues, We dont have any
volunteers to work on it.
once we have someone, we can fix it.
But in Linux those issues are fixed upto 90%. As we r focussing on linux, it
shouldnt be an issue.

Suresh are we going to use sets of two characters for double characters like pa+pa for ppa and cha+cha for chcha (ച്ച should be replaced by a single character ¨). Do you remember the old Malayalam memos typed and sent from govt. offices which cannot be read at all? Type writer had restrictions. But computer software should not have those restrictions
What is the text editor to be used? TextPad the commonly used text editor don’t support these Unicode. So I’m using notepad.
A site worth visiting, may be u have seen it (http://www.geocities.com/malatutor/)
Cheers
Achayan
