Hi,

      Pango provided with gnome-2.4 
is version 1.2.5. It doesnot have malayalam
support and our patch is not applicable for it.
(As Raj pointed out). We need to create new
patch for pango-1.2.5.
 The current patch is created by Arun, so he
can update it.
