[Smc-discuss] Unicode support of KDE editors

Friends,

         Did any body try to create a (unicode) malayalam file through
KDE editors, save & open it.

In my RH9.0 system i simply typed some mal chars in KWRITE using the
"ml" keyboard layout provided in the RH9.0. But after saving when I
reopen it i could see only ??? ( Question marks). Whats the problem.

In the case of GEDIT, there is no problem if the unicode malayalam file
created using gedit is opened using Gedit itself,   But when the file is
opened using any other editors i could see only some Junk malayalam
characters.
